The setup
On Saturday evening, association president Leander Kroll plans to lease Lindenrain House to a hotelier. The rent will pay for a new roof. But at 8:05 p.m., the guests wait in vain: Kroll is dead, murdered by someone in the house.
Investigator Jule Thiemann seals the house. You volunteer in the garden and know the five people who were at odds with Kroll. Thiemann takes their statements; you piece together his day from eight in the morning. Who was alone with him, and when?

How Lindenrain plays
Each chapter has a 6×6 sudoku and its own floor plan of 5×5 or 6×6 squares. Every solved sudoku adds a letter to the code word and a snapshot to your evidence wall.
The tone is murderous but cozy: no blood, no weapon on screen. The catalog rates the story 2 out of 5 magnifying glasses, which makes it a good first full case.
The story comes with the app. It downloads the first time you open it and stays playable offline after that. You can play it in your browser too.
